Hello, thanks for reading this, signing up and thanks for thinking about applying!

Your application should look something like this:
Title of your thread: *POSITION* *NAME* (fill in the position you're applying for and your name. If you want to apply for multiple positions, then just fill in all positions you're applying for)
In the thread you cantell us something about yourself if you want, or how you landed here / why want to join us. You don't have to, but it's nice to socialize right? If you've got any previous works, feel free to show us; It will give us an indication of what you can do.

If you're applying for the Cleaner / Typesetter / Editing position, then please upload a part of your test, so we can have a look.

At the bottom of this post you can download those tests. If you have any questions or anything feel free to ask and we'll answer- if we can.

Not sure what positions you can apply for, or what they all do? Below are all the positions we're looking for, the requirements for the positions and the testing method.

At the moment you can apply for the following positions:

Cleaner- Basically you are the one that makes that dusty and dirty scan into a mostly black and white page. Photoshop is needed for this position, nowadays you can pick that up anywhere on the world wide web. You don't need to be experienced in photoshop however, we can teach you from scratch if we have to. Interested in this position? Download the cleaning test at the bottom and start with page 01, when it's done post it in your thread. We'll evaluate your page and give you pointers on what went wrong / good and give you a new page depending on your current progress.

The one that types in the texts in and outside the bubbles.
photoshop is also needed for this position, as you'll be working on the photoshop files from the cleaners.
Interested in this position? Download the typesetters test at the bottom of this post and complete it. Afterwards your test will be checked and you'll be pointed upon mistakes if there are any. There's also a final typesetting test wich you'll get once the first one is passed.

This position is a nifty combination of the typesetter and the cleaner. If you apply for this position you will be tested for both. Download both tests at the bottom of this page.

Not all translators are completely fluent in English, and translations could consequently have grammatical mistakes and/or a clumsy sentence flow. A proofreader filters out those things and makes it a nice, reader-friendly script. For this position you of course have to be fluent in english, be able to spot all those mistakes and correct them while trying to keep as much from the original meaning as possible. If you apply for this position our 'Head proofreader' will work with you and you'll get scripts to fix to see if your English is adequate enough.

The translator translates Japanese into readable English, so you need to have a good handle on both languages. If you apply for this position one of our translators will attend to you, and you'll be given a test.
